NAMING OF NEW TYPE CHASSIS & UNITS.

It was agreed that the first Ripple should be called "1.R.1", the first Ripplet "1.RT.1" and the first Rippletto "1.RO.{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}1".

The engine units should be referred to by the following type numbers:-

4-cylinder - B.40
6-cylinder - B.60
8-cylinder - B.80.

Different models of the same type shouldbe distinguished by their bore size being added to the type designation. Furthermore, should any other material but Cast Iron be used, this will be added to the designation. An example of this is as follows:-

An aluminium 4-cylinder 2-litre engine would be specified as follows:-

B.40 75 mm. Aluminium.

If it was in Cast Iron, Aluminium would simply be deleted.
