Dear Sirs,

Referring to telephone conversation this morning, we are pleased to confirm that the four special test tyres, which were put in hand following the writer's and Mr.Lambourn's visit on the 18th August, were despatched to you by passenger train on Monday night last.

They should, therefore, have been in your possession the following day and we trust that you have been able to trace them.

The covering green advice note was marked for the attention of Mr.Grylls, and bore the serial numbers of the four covers.

Yours faithfully,
