Dear Sirs,

Re: 4.B.50.

We wish to confirm our comments on the above car made during the visit to your Works on Tuesday last by Mr.Robotham, Mr. Bailey and Mr. Dodd.

New Front to PD.380, Sheet 3 (Advanced Design).

You will carry out the following modifications to the mock-up:

(1) Make bolder the radiator shell, basing the form on that of the eagle beak effect of the present Bentley.

(2) Build out the side of the radiator shell to agree with the top.

(3) Paint on a chromium shell as indicated.

(4) Provide a detachable chromium fillet to be applied to the face of the shell at will.

(5) Elongate upwards the slots and fine beads on the shell face as shewn originally on PD.380 -Sheet 3, and fade out the ends of the beads.

(6) Raise the Bentley badge slightly.

(7) Fit chromium bead for the top and side bonnet moulding.

Cont'd.....
