EFC. } FROM R & E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} } c. BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4040 R2/M11.9.28. GREEN LIGHT MAGNET. X.4040 The frame of this is naturally insulated so that it can receive current from terminal 7., and the other contact can take it to green lamp. The coils of this magnete can be entirely insulated from their cores, or its frame, so that one end can receive current from C., and the other one earthed. The insulated contacts shewn on 1. 2. and 3. DES.Sch.361 - are not necessary, and can be as shewn in our original LeC.2567 - i.e. armature uninsulated. We agree with terminal 7. for the green lamp current. We agree with terminal C. for both green lamp magnet, and auto: charging switch fine wire coil. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
