CJ5/E14/2/24 - 2 - It cannot be expected that you could possibly under-stand the ramifications of the Sales business. Suffice it to say that the introduction of EAC.II means that every depot, coachbuilder and agent, who is in the habit of keeping a demonstration Rolls-Royce car and a stock of Rolls-Royce complete cars, is going to be hard hit by the introduction introduction of EAC.II. To follow this at a short interval by the introduction of EAC.IV would mean ruination to many of them and maybe to ourselves. Therefore, I fear that you will have to be patient and give the Company time to recover itself from the enormous but unavoidable shocks from which it has suffered and is going to suffer throughout the present year. I enclose memoranda from Wormald and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} on this matter which I think are worthy of consideration. Possibly we may be able to discuss this together at Marseilles next Thursday or on the Friday morning. Yours ever, C.J. Enc. Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}6/M13/2/24 HsS/LG13/2/24 | ||
