In the meantime a fuse is being added experimentally to save the regulator from burning up. Handwritten note: 117JT. FAULTY AMMETERS These troubles have been taken up with the makers and a design is being modified to eliminate the troubles. Handwritten note: B118JD{J. Draper - Frames} K19 report BIG END BEARING Works are anxious about the durability of the fork rod bearing. A modified bearing consisting of a loose aluminium alloy bush is showing promise. This modification could be applied to existing rods and an investigation is being made of what work and expense will be entailed in carrying out this alteration.
