Necessity of sideways clearance for a spring and roller assembly to prevent binding.

| EY6-P30.9.20. contd. - 2 - It is evident that a certain amount of clearance sideways is necessary, or else the spring will bind between the flanges of the roller when the axle is moved sideways. In view of the trouble that the Test Dept. are experiencing it would appear that something should be done to overcome it. Possibly some better solution than the two suggested above may occur to you.
