ITEM. DESIGN POSITION.

KESTREL ENGINE:

RR. Variable pitch airscrew hub. In hand.
Drive for vacuum pump (Kestrel VI engines for Holland). Completed.
Piston 6.5:1 compression ratio.- no cooling ribs - ramp head. Completed.
Mods. to 2-speed supercharger - oil supply etc. Completed.
Increased loading valve springs - ramp head. Completed.

MERLIN "B" ENGINE.

Modified cyl.head water passages - to suit existing castings. Completed.

MERLIN "C" ENGINE.

Variable timing gun gear. Completed.
Electric starting gear. Completed.
Modified ramp cylinder head - larger induction ports. Completed.
Servo oil pump and drive. Completed.
Strengthened supercharger drive gears - 10.13:1 ratio. In hand.
Modified water pump outlets - to clear electric starter. Completed.
