To HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} C. to BJ. WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.AJS. X7300 R5/M10.6.26. EAC. S. CLUTCH - X.7300. Regarding the clutch I have arranged with HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} that unless the fabric on the driven peice can be made with less moment of inertia I should not for the moment consider this type. The only work then to be done to the clutch at the moment is to endeavour to lighten both the flywheel and the driven part of the clutch, and make it more certain of stopping slightly more quickly.
