SMITH - A.T. SPEEDOMETER No. F.550.
We are handing you herewith the above speedometer which is calibrated at 810 revs per mile suitable for our 20/25 CHASSIS U Series (Smith instruments).
Will you please pass this into production and credit our order No with the same.
We understand that it will be necessary to arrange with Smith's to send one set of instruments minus a speedometer in order to preserve the arrangement whereby they are supplying complete sets of instruments.
We now require as quickly as possible in exchange for this instrument another speedometer similar externally but with a 100 M.P.H. dial and with a revs per mile figure of 784.
Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.
