Re Cadillac.

Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}6/E.13.11.34.

The proposal is that this car shall complete 15,000 miles in France. This with the 5,000 run in England will make 20,000 miles in all.

We are particularly anxious that officials who are interested in coachwork, and any other people such as Mr. Sclater-Booth, should have the opportunity of trying this car under Continental conditions before it comes back to England. In spite of our frequent visits to the Continent we are always somewhat surprised at the condition of some of the main roads there as typified by that which has to be traversed between Boulogne and Paris.

When the car is back in England, if it is agreed that the condition of the body is exceptionally good we think it is a very good idea to pull it to pieces and show the construction to interested Coachbuilders.
