ITEM. DESIGN POSITION.

SINGLE CYLINDER AND GENERAL RESEARCH - CONTINUED:-

6 cyl. air cooled Exe engine:- flywheel and end cover. In hand.
-do- motoring drive and crankshaft damper. In hand.
Piston for single cylinder liquid cooled Exe with enlarged porting. In hand.
P.V.XII single cylinder unit:- removal of projecting inlet valve guide boss in port. In hand.
Modifications to dynamo for aero engine battery ignition. In hand.

KESTREL ENGINE.

Adaption of Hobson automatic boost control. In hand.
Fixed pitch airscrew hub for testing V.P. blades. In hand.
Modified camshaft slot - Kestrel X automatic mixture control. In hand.
Adaption of RR. V.P. airscrew hub to take Schwarz blades. In hand.
Arrangement of direct fitting "E" shank Hamilton airscrew. Completed 21.6.35.
Free wheel release springs. " 26.6.35.
V.P. airscrew - modification to outer thrust bearing. " 28.6.35.
