R.R. 235A (500 T) (S.D. 408. 26-4-17.) Bm. 2/156/15. -2- El/G25.9.18. Contd another roller bearing with small rollers and no cage, to the proportions used by Messrs. Hoffmann. We find that their list does not give a heavy type of roller bearing, neither is the size of rollers given on any of their bearings. We propose to send you in a few posts therefore, a modified roller bearing. It should be perhaps remembered that the ball bearing for this test should have spigotted cages so that they will not be flung about, which would have the effect of skidding the balls or breaking the cage.
