Ltd., Firhill, Glasgow, are developing the manufacture of Spun Glass for Heating Installations, Sound Deadening, etc. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} will recollect we discussed this some time ago, but since then they have made enormous strides, and even weave such Spun Glass into fabric. Attached is Booklet also sample of the Glass in question, which please pass on to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} as I have only one of each. The Burgess Co. in conjunction with Chance Brothers are developing Silencers sheathed in such Spun Glass. Leaflet also attached.
