Barraclough AEN. Does this interest you? [Stamp: RECEIVED] [Stamp: August 24th, 1911 T.P.R.] [Handwritten on left margin: X967] SUBJECT To Agents for VACUUM MOBILOIL. Dear Sirs, We write to advise you of a change we have made in Vacuum Mobiloil B, which has always been our most important brand of oil for the lubrication of all air-cooled engines, and also for water-cooled engines where an oil thicker than Mobiloil A is required. We have had several complaints, especially during the cold weather, that Mobiloil B flows very sluggishly, and on this account is difficult to handle, and there has always been some fear that when engines are started up first on a cold morning they would have to run some time before the oil could flow freely enough to give full lubrication, and in the case of motor-cycle engines, especially where the pipe from the oil tank to the engine has several coils, it is very difficult to force it by the hand pump provided. The change we have made in Mobiloil B has improved this condition. It will now pour quite freely even in cold weather, but at the same time it retains its high efficiency under severe heat conditions as formerly. These characteristics are bound to bring for this oil a very large number of users who could not use it owing to the difficulties mentioned above. We have made additions and improvements to our Motor-cycle Oils generally of late, until at the present time we have a perfect set of oils which covers the whole field of motor-cycle requirements. We have interested many of the builders of motor-cycles, and proved to them that our oils are superior to anything else on the market, and as a result we have at the present time the business and recommendation of such well-known firms as the Clyno, F.N., J.A.P., Matchless, N.S.U., Precision, Singer, Triumph, Trump, and some others whose names we are not at the present time authorized to mention.
