Secret, x7120 EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/1.12.33. TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} COPY TO SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOH. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RE PHANTOM II. CONTINENTAL SALOON. We send herewith Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S. III. shewing a comparison between the present Continental Touring Saloon, the improved design of body which is made possible by the revised crossmembers as fitted to 27EX. and the Vulture. The advantages of the revised chassis of 27EX. can be seen by the increased leg room of the rear seat even though the body is approx. 2.000 ins. shorter. The rear seat is able to be 1.000 ins. lower. With respect to Vulture it will be noticed that although the car and body are much smaller the room in the body is no less, in fact the leg room to the rear seat is ½ ins. more than on the present Continental Saloon. Will you please send a print to "E" and two prints to EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} as we want to send a print to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
