4209 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.7/KW.6.2.35. Supercharged Unit B-12. We wish to put the unit in a car before long so as to determine its behaviour on the road. We know that it will go into the chassis with the blower in its present position and using a Zenith carburetter, without modifications to the chassis. With the blower on the water pump side it will foul the steering box. We should prefer to run the car with the blower in the latter position, however, and should like you to look into the question of what chassis modifications would be necessary, using the Peregrine steering box.
