X.2894 - TUNGSTEN CONTACTS.

We are sending you herewith four sets of blades and screws of our standard battery ignition, but fitted with Tungsten contacts. The components of one pair of sets are marked with fig.2. This pair of sets were fitted in England by the Tungsten Manufacturing Company. The components of the other pair of sets are marked with Fig.3. The contacts of these were received from the Fansteel Company in U.S.A. and fitted to the blades and screws by us in the Expl. Dept.

Will EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} kindly arrange to have these contacts tried out on test cars at the earliest opportunity.

Will Mr. Warwick kindly arrange to have these fitted to experimental cars 7 CA - 49 GB - 2 EX, etc. informing us by note as to which items are fitted to which car.
