1033 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CRS.5/JH. 6th. February, 1940. The Zenith Carburetter Co.Ltd., Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, MIDDLESEX. For the attention of Mr. Turner. Dear Sirs, Many thanks for your letter dated 2nd. February, enclosing various specifications of carburetters fitted to Buick and Cadillac cars. In the last paragraph of your letter you say, you think we should be safe in working on the 1939 specification. Actually, that is one of the points we wish to settle i.e. (1) What is the difference between the 1939 and 1940 models? (2) What is the difference between the 1940 Buick and Cadillac? The reason for the above is as follows :- We have found after having done a certain amount of road work with these particular carburetters, that certain troubles we have experienced have obviously been run into before in the States, and such troubles overcame in later series carburetters. You will agree, that we should make use of all the available information from the States and further, we wish to obtain about a dozen new carburetters, so we want the latest and most suitable models for our particular engines. That is why we would like to know the differences | ||
