Dear Sirs,

Replying to your letter of the 21st instant reference JWH/MA. it is very difficult for us to describe to you the characteristics of the plug most suitable for the engine in question, any sparking plug manufacturer would of course realize this, as sparking plugs have to be developed in some instances to suit the particular characteristics of each engine. It is more satisfactory for us to say that the 744 plug design with regard to heat factor and oiling up factor is quite suitable and if a plug is submitted for test by yourselves with similar heat and oiling-up factors it should be reasonably satisfactory.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
