Mr Hives

I am sending you results of tests carried out on the Reverdin Goshawk. The weather has cooled down a lot, as when he complained the air Temp was 30° 35°. Under these conditions the water will boil without a larger radiator & fitted louvres in side of bonnet. Mr Schmidt has already proved to himself that on the 40-50 the louvres are a better cooling effect than our 4 slides. He is certain of this and will not be told otherwise, as for winter he says the radiator shutters keep them warm enough. Mr. Reverdin seems to be a bit of a fanatic. He is an owner driver, mechanic, oiler etc.. and from what I can gather is one who is always at the Schmidt Office. Mr Reverdin complains that when the water is boiling, he gets roasted inside and also that the oil in the engine gets so thin, that it leaks out every where consumption goes up which he does not like. He wanted Disc Wheels fitted but was told he could not have them (going to fit covers over present wheels, Spare Wheel on sides, could not have them, but has seen them since on other Goshawks, so 40-50. (convinced him this not R.R. fitting). oil leak from pump (made right somewhere in France, slack in transmission shaft. complained to Wright still there seems to be in wheel drive, N.S Rear oil pouring out of drum (Ive noticed this) complain of poor brakes
