To EY. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to EY/Shn. Y4228 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG29.4.24. PRODUCTION POINTS. MODIFIED AIR INLET - 20 HP. CAR. Care must be taken that there are no sharp edges left anywhere in the air stream, or whistling may be experienced. An oil-tight joint must be made where the crankcase vent tube E.53193 is bolted to the Intake casting. A good radiused edge should be given on both the Intake and carburetter where they meet so as to prevent the possibility of a sharp edge existing on either casting, and as this joint is oval in shape and not easily machined, or visible, the radius should be ample to provide for all inequalities in the castings at this place.
