+3806 To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Gv. C. to By Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gy2/MJ. 8.7.29 DESIGN OF BIJUR PUMP With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/4.7.29., in the event of you re-designing the top casting for the R.R. Bijur, we should appreciate a better method of holding down this cover. Would it be possible to arrange for four 2 BA studs instead of the two at present in use, as it is very difficult to ensure a face joint between the cover and body of the pump when pulling down against so strong a spring.
