re. 147-GY. Davies. Booming Complaint.

RECEIVED 30 MAR 1931

With further reference to our EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}10/H25.3.31. in order to complete the records of this case, I am now able to attach a copy of report from Bt.{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} who delivered and demonstrated the car to the owner, in conjunction with JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager}

It is interesting to note that the speeds at which the car is usually driven for Mr. Davies' use are about 40 m.p.h. whereas the boom period we have been worrying about is between 50 and 60 m.p.h.

It would also appear from this report that neither Bt.{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} nor JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} are satisfied that the booming period has been cured. The chief object of their visit was to obtain an "expression of satisfaction" with the car.
