X4410 Regarding the question of insulation on "GoshawkAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine II" electrical fittings, Mr. Royce has recently considered the dimensions which he thinks allowable, and has now decided that the face insulation may be bakelite micarta sheet .062" thick, and the bushings bakelite micarta tubes .031" thick, as in sketch. The adoption of these new dimensions should be per-missible in the reduced scale switchbox that you are drawing, and may be of help in producing this design. Referring to the cutout and distribution board, these are to be combined on the one mounting, as mentioned in a previous memo, and the design is approaching completion.
