THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO. Limited. Sheet No......... 2. ... fit a 3m/m seating instead of a 2m/m seating, (See table). Our standard level under a head of 4'-6" when a 2.5m/m seating is fitted is 20m/m from the face of the bowl and such a level is indicated on the level gauge which has been forwarded to you today under separate cover. A larger seating under the same head would give a higher level and no harmful effect will result should the level rise a millimetre or so. Should the head and the dimensions of the seating combine to make the level excessively high, then it is necessary to lower the seating by means of an additional washer, or by a thicker washer. We find that hard aluminium makes a good substitute for fibre. To fit the gauge, remove the plug under the compensating jet and screw gauge into position. I shall write you later respecting the other matters discussed. Yours faithfully, THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO. LTD., A.H. Palmer. AEP/KET. | ||
