BJ. ) FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} SC. ) C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DY.{F R Danby} ORIGINAL R2/M20.11.28. 20HP. LONGER FRAME. Y5380 As suggested in one of my recent memos. that we could offer the 20HP. with the 3" longer frame in the same way that we offer the longer Phantom, we need say nothing further than just that the frame is 3" longer. Before we deliver the cars the 10,000 miles trial would be over. There is at least one of these cars running at present. The reason why I want to hurry this matter is that I fear we are losing orders, and losing appear-ance, by still supplying the short scuttles and high seats. I know of at least one order, of which there is risk in delay, depending on this move. Can we put this in motion? R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
