C O P Y. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Col. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} C. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/T.S. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/ML.10.6.40. The main defect in the fixed shutter cooling system as developed for the Ripplet seems to be the low under-bonnet temperature. Presumably, by decreasing the face area of the matrix and increasing its depth, this disability can be overcome. We should like to have your recommendations on the subject.
