FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. to W. ES. JAPAN 3. E1/W26.10.31. X5770 In reply to your memo. SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/L231031., the remarks made during your visit of September to WW. with regard to Japan 3. referred to the engine section only, and were based on the assumption that we should concentrate on J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. to the exclusion of all other work. Unfortunately this has proved to be impossible as shewn by past experience, and we must confess that we are unable to give a definite date, not knowing what is going to turn up. All that we can say is that we are pushing on with J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. in the hope of getting it all finished before Christmas. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
