EFC/T27.1.27. ITEMS FOR 20 HP. CHASSIS 10-GIII on 10,000 MILE TEST. Double value ballast resistance of the B. type. We have one of these in readiness. This must be run with the recently standardised finer primary coil in redmanol case, and with tungsten points with a slight doming of .002" on the screw point only. On chassis 10-GIII, we have experimentally running at present a finer primary coil of this type in redmanol case with single (standard) ballast and tungsten points, and if this chassis be used, we want the evidence from these when the change is made. Modified type EO1 Watford magneto, with longer cams. These are now being received for production. Dynamo armature with 28 slots, for silence, in place of 29. This should be an otherwise standard machine but re-arranged with solid poles and with armature with 28 slots for silence in place of 29. We have one of these in our laboratory and instructions have already been placed in the Expl. Shop. for two more Maconite H.T. cable. The set of Maconite H.T. wiring at present on 9-GIII should be exchanged with that on 10-GIII for this purpose, as we have not at the moment sufficient stock of Maconite for another set. 87°C and 97°C dynamo sentinals are prepared which we would like rune on the dynamo on the 10,000 miles test. It is assumed that the modifications to the cutout recently standardised will be included. EFC. -o- | ||
