For the attention of Mr. Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

Sprayed Limpet Asbestos for Reduction of Drumming in Metal Bodies.

We have pleasure in advising that arrangements to spray Asbestos on to the metal body building by Messrs. Park Ward & Co., are nearing completion, and that we hope to despatch plant to London for demonstration towards the end of next week.

Your sales Department in London suggest that it might be advisable to spray a further body for your Technical Department, and we assure you we should be only too pleased to undertake this free of charge, provided the shell could be brought down here on a chassis. The question of elimination of drumming or the reduction to the extent desired by you is possibly a matter which requires further study, and if you have at the moment, any views on the matter, you could care to have a certain number of panels tried out in different ways, perhaps you would care to co-operate with us, as we are at the moment trying various different degrees of compression, thicknesses etc. on large steel panels. We feel that this work could be undertaken to advantage before treating a further body, should you have any decided views on the question.

Yours faithfully,
J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} W. ROBERTS LTD.
