DERBY.
Dear Mr. West,
Thank you for your letter of the 14th inst. and your offer to meet me at the station. This would be very kind of you and it seems to me that there may be quite a few things to talk about on Monday afternoon and various friends I would like to see, so I wondered if you could lunch with me at the Midland Hotel at 1 o'clock, when we might run over the ground a little and perhaps save a bit of time. I am coming by the 10.25 train from St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Pancras which gets to Derby a minute or two before one.
Yours sincerely,
GRMinchin
