We are returning to you today under cover of our advice note No.SR.4276 axle unit No.T.9.BR for your examination. Owner's complaint - rear axle trouble.

Car brought in from Knightsbridge with transmission failure caused by the fracture of the N/S rear axle driver dog.

As soon as you have made your examination, might we ask you to pass the/axle over to the Repairs for overhaul and return to this Depot as floating stock.
