MANUFACTURE OF CHASSIS PIECES.

It is imperative that from now onwards all instructions to HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} to manufacture chassis pieces should be accompanied by a covering note over my signature. In my absence, this will be signed either by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} or Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}, to ensure that all instructions go through my office.

At the moment, we have quite a number of parts being made, the production of which I have not officially sanctioned, though I know that they are floating about, and sooner or later this lack of method will give us a bad name unless we put it right.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
