RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 X.5663. ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To EDO Order No. AD 81- Customer's No. x 1662 20/25 H.P. 56 coil Dynamo with Double Trailer Poles We have received from Mr Brock a dynamo as above which is standard except that the poles are eased off at both the leading and the trailing edges. It was inspected and put on the bench with the control brush set as received, namely at 118.5° from the positive. On running the machine it was seen that the output was very high and after two hours the temperature was at nearly 90°C and still rising. At this stage the commutator solder melted. No curve of performance was therefore taken, but the output at the time of throwing the solder was about 14.0 amperes. The machine has been returned to Mr Brock. Signed J.H. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
