X.440 Re Lanchester Chassis. X 3053

It is thought worth while to put the Lanchester chassis in good fettle so that experience can be obtained from it of the virtues of the gear box, that is, whether it is desirable to have such a gear box on the Rolls-Royce car, even if it seems impossible to make it any better than the standard Lanchester.
