have recently described as being preferable to the standard
connection, viz. as being fed through the field fuse from
the C terminal of the distribution box, reasons for this
having been given in our report EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T8.10.27. There does
not not appear to be any particular reason why this should
not be fed from the top side of the field fuse as in the
case of the voltmeter, except that it is not quite so
convenient in wiring. On the contrary, in the case of the
danger lamp unit there is a reason for supplying this from
the B terminal of the distribution box, viz. that it would
also give evidence of something wrong if the dynamo
armature fuse were removed or melted, for precisely the same
reason that in the case of the cutout shunt coil with this
connection that coil might be roasted in those circumstnaces,
as explained in our report referred to (EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T8.10.27).

N.B. Further portion on auto switch will follow.
