R.R. 235A (500 T) (S.D. 408. 26-4-17.) Bm. 2/156/13. Extract from E6/G1.5.19. X.3552 (13) PORTABLE LAMP - Mr. Royce would like some connections to be included in the lighting set for a portable lamp. This lamp would be of the type which has a protecting cage, and a handle round which the flexible is wound when not in use. It might also have a hook, so as to be hung up in the garage or any convenient position where the light was found convenient. It should be quite a simple affair which could be thrown away when spoilt or worn out and easily replaced. The connection on theswitchboard can be of the simple plug form, as on the C.A.V. switch box fitted to chassis 7 CA. The idea is that the lamp shall be used when changing wheels on the road at night time, or when working on the car in a garage where no illumination was available. It is not yet decided whether the lamp will be definitely provided with the chassi, or as an extra item at the option of the customer and at the customer's expense, but the plug connection for same should be definitely provided in the lighting set. | ||
