To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} No 5 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}16/KW.13.6.35. Induction Pipes. For development of the Bentley induction system, we are at present using a sheet metal pipe, the dimensions of which are suitable for two distinct jobs- (1) Larger bore Bentley. (2) Bentley for the T.T. As mentioned above, there is only one of these pipes in existence, and as a decent job will be needed for the T.T. we feel that a new pipe should be produced modified from EB.616/7 as follows :- Main bore to be 1.625 instead of 1.500 dia. 6 inlet ports to be 1.500 instead of 1.350 dia. 2 carb. ports to be 1.625 " " 1.375 dia. With stud centres to suit 1 5/8" S.U. carbs. (Further details and carburetters to suit can be supplied by C.T.S.). Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/C.T.Salt: | ||
