In February and March 1940, The Wolseley Motors Ltd. sent for your attention, one Cotal Gear Box, type MK.20 and one Cotal Gear Box type MK.12 and we have in our possession, loan invoices for these two gear boxes which are priced at £40 each Nett.

We now have a communication from the Wolseley Co. asking to confirm that these two Gear Boxes are still in our possession.

Will you kindly confirm that you still have them and advise us if there is any prospect of this matter being cleared either by the Gear Boxes being returned for credit if you have finished with them, or your providing Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} with instructions to have a covering order issued, if you intend to buy them.

G/WFH.
