Derby.

Dear Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer},

It occurs to me that you may be interested to know that when I had occasion to send one of my people to Bristol recently, in connection with an enquiry received from there, he was confronted with a request for information concerning the 10 h.p. car you propose to produce after the war.

Fortunately for us the man I sent knew nothing whatever about your future programme, but the man who questioned him seemed to know that you had in mind producing a 10 h.p. car with a 4 cylinder engine. He volunteered the information that the chassis was going to be manufactured at Crewe.

I am bringing this matter to your notice now, because of unfortunate past experience, when it was rather suggested by certain people that Park Ward & Co., were the responsible party who gave away what we knew were closely guarded secrets of your future plans.

Yours sincerely,
