DERBY.

For attention of Mr. Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

I am acknowledging the receipt of your favour of the 8th inst. (ref.Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/MJ) which is addressed for the attention of Mr. Paull.

I am sorry to say that Mr. Paull has been far from well and has in fact been absent from the Works on this account during the last week or two.

The matter of Silent Tread Tyres is one which has been receiving his attention, and I know he would like to pay you a personal visit at Derby with a view to advancing the matter further.

With this in mind, I would appreciate it if you would allow the subject to stand over until after the Easter Holidays, when I am sure that Mr. Paull will take the very earliest opportunity of paying you the visit referred to.

Yours faithfully,
for DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD.,

W. Bond
Development Manager.
