Complaint regarding poor brakes and a transmission rattle on a new 20/25 saloon car.

I used the above car, which is our new 20/25 saloon, this week-end. I found that the brakes were definitely very poor and, on taking up the matter with Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}, he tells me that they are very little worse than present standard.
There is also an unpleasant rattle in the transmission when starting on second.
As both these points are below what they should be for standard, I have asked him to bring the car up to Derby so that these points can be demonstrated and I should like very serious attention given to this complaint.
