'SS{S. Smith}' OIL PRESSURES. X7010 X7060

With reference to E1/M15. 2. 29. On starting up the SS.{S. Smith} engine from cold and running at approx. 500 r.p.m. the oil pressures attain the following max. values :-

High........... 32.0 lbs/sq.in.
Intermediate..... 16.0 " "
Low............ 5.5 " "

It is necessary for the engine to run approx. three minutes before these values are attained.
