ALUMINIUM ENGINES.

There appears to be some confusion with regard to exactly what is required in the way of detail drawings for aluminium engines. The position is that the patterns for the aluminium 8 are partly completed and they are waiting for the drawings for these engines to be brought up to date so that we can complete the patterns.

This is very urgent.

When we have completed these drawings we want another preparing showing these aluminium engines without water between the coolers, which will permit of 3.5" liners. A 3.25 bore aluminium engine was of course, mentioned in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS{C. Trot Salt - Carburation},1/JH.1.4.40.
