For the attention of Mr. Frazer.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of June 6th and enclosures.

As we are anxious to get this brake system as soon as possible on to one of our experimental cars, we approve this scheme and ask you to make the parts with all speed.

Now that you have full details of the scheme, however, we must have a detailed statement of the cost of the various components. If we were not anxious to try this layout as soon as possible, we would require this before instructing you to proceed.

We notice that on your drawing GA/G.548 there is shown a full-lock foul between cross steering tube and jaw of O.S. pull rod. While we can use a cranked cross steering tube for trial purposes, this foul would be a serious matter if we had not already intended to modify the cross steering tube levers.

We have gone into the question of drilling the axle. We find that the eight holes in each of the spring pads (one of which you do not show in your drawing) will have to be drilled by hand, but that the king pin holes can be drilled on one of our jigs.
