TYRE MILEAGE. 43809/4565 We have now used well base wheels and low pressure tyres sufficiently long to be able to give a fair average life mileage for comparison with s.s. cord tyre figures. Average mileage of 11 33 X 5" s.s. cord tyres = 7,004 " " 14 33 X 6.75" w.b. tyres = 7,091 It cannot be said therefore that the life of the well base tyre is less than the old straight sided tyres under similar conditions.
