(b) Concealed radiator bracing. (c) Steam valve eliminated. (2) Undershields - Vertical undershields giving free air outlet from under bonnet and reducing cost of undershields. (3) Clutch with more durable material and increased cushioning. Lighter clutch springs. (4) Increased clutch pedal travel to reduce effort. (5) Improved front shock absorbers with more silent operation. (6) Gearbox with modifications to prevent 2nd. and 3rd. speeds coming out. Lower angle cones to increase synchromesh efficiency. (7) Car Heater - Harrison type car heater fitted. (weight of heater 6 lbs.) (8) Less costly exhaust system. (9) Lucas W.T.22. type horns. (10) Rubber spring shackles and rubber between axle and frame. (11) Lightened front bumper. (12) Wide rim wheels to improve car stability. (13) S.U. double pump with additional single unit fitted on the dash and change-over switch. Latest type diaphragms on all units. (14) Wraith wheel movement to reduce steering shocks.
