Experimental Department recommendation to send Woodhead springs to France for testing on the 9-PK and 98-NK cars.

The Experimental Dept. recommendation is that we should send Woodhead springs to France to fit on to 9-PK car which is already out there, and which could then start the tests which would be comparable with previous tests which have been made. As regards 98-NK car, as it is evident that we are not going to obtain Firths springs with Woodhead clips of the 12½% type for two or three weeks, this car should leave with Woodhead springs in order to carry out radiator tests, and as soon as the other springs are available, they could be sent out to the car.
