BY/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} EFC. HC. X 8664 BY8/G.4.3.29. DYNAMO OUTPUT. ----------- Referring to R2/M8.2.28. and EFC's memo (EFC4/LG. 21.2.29. and EFC2/T.1.2.29.) I consider that we should, immediately we get an opportunity, instruct three intermediate output dynamos in accordance with EFC's instructions. It is evident that R.{Sir Henry Royce} has this suggestion in view as replacing the present scheme of dynamo, with the object of overcoming the complaints we get occasionally from London, Paris and Australia, to the effect that they cannot keep their batteries fully charged when they do a great deal of night running and not much running during the day. This matter should of course stand over until we have cleared up the SS.{S. Smith} position entirely. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
